Check out this short clip of the Dog Whisperer Caesar Milan and Oprah-featured author Eckhart Tolle commenting on how dogs balance the energy fields in our homes.
Makes sense to me - what do you think? It may seem odd to you but after pet sitting in people's homes for over 15 years I can definitely hone in on the "energy" present in their homes. In some homes I feel at peace and at ease and I sleep well. In some homes the animals seem relaxed and content. Yet in other homes I sleep terrible, I feel general discomfort and restlessness. And I can very much pick up on when animals are stressed or uneasy or unhappy as well. The "energy" of the clients coupled with the "energy" of their pets ultimately contribute to the overall "energy" of their living space. I can't say this has always been the case but over the years I have developed the skill of picking up on these details (intuition?) quite a lot. Sometimes I can feel an energy about new clients, their home and their animals immediately upon meeting them. Other times it comes later once I am already staying in their home for a few days. I find it true that if I sense there is love and contentment then I will feel relaxed in the space during my stay. I definitely feel like the animals can intensify that affect. That said there is definitely a difference in energies between young pets and elderly pets, young clients and older clients. It just brings a different dynamic to a household. I wonder what your household dynamic would hold? Would I sleep well or terrible in your home? Are your furries happy or unhappy? Are they puppies and kitties or elderly pets? Are they yappy, curious and restless or chill and lazy? So like Eckhart and Caesar, I believe dogs do balance the energy fields in our homes but they can also tell me a lot about YOU! |
